To safeguard the quality of occupational training and to create as many apprenticeship openings as possible in the Rhein Valley was the objective of eight companies based in the Rhein Valley with Leica Geosystems and the employer’s association of the Rhein Valley taking the lead. The eight participating Rhein Valley companies train up to 90 apprentices and have now initiated the Occupational Training Centre, Rhein Valley in cooperation with the association called ”Lernzentren LfW“. Similar occupational training centres for the machine, electronic and metal industries under inclusion of computer science and economics have been successful for years in Zurich, Baden and Birr.
The following apprenticeships are offered at the Occupational Training Centre located in Heerbrugg:
- Poly mechanics
- Electronics technicians, Fine opticians
- Plastics technicians
- Salesmen
- Logistics assistants
- Constructors
- Computer specialists
In planning is automater.
Further apprenticeships can be added to meet the requirements of the participating companies.
